Wow, from pitching our tent at camping Fornella to swimming in Lake Garda Camping, a really nice break and place to be. I like to camp with space around me and Fornella is a great place for this plenty of pitch space so didn't feel cramped or to overlooked. Amazing scenery with Olive trees lining parts of the lake and nice pebble beaches and with two swimming pools on site there was no excuse not to get wet. The lake itself is a site to behold, on a still crisp morning u will be hard pushed to find a better view, this being the largest lake in Italy with a mountainous backdrop is definitely a place I will be visiting again. Fornella has all the amenities to keep me happy, restaurant, bar or pizzeria, bike hire, and a nice touch, they produce there own olive oil so combined with the scenery and backdrop, this campsite has a massive thumbs up from me.
